"Narrow situations" is a research of the dancer Tatiana Mejia in collaboration with musician Sasha Pushkin. Where they explore many narrow situations throughout the body and music on there own and in relationship with each other and the space. Invasion of the body, of the hair, of the space, of the music, of the time, of the thoughts the spirits.

Tatiana Mejia (Dominican Republic)
Contemporary dancer degree in the National School of Dance in Rep. Dom 2003. Begun her choreographic work with her independent company "Desdoblados" with the performances: "Cuando vi" 2004, "Huellas de la ciudad" 2006, "Chiripa wonderland" 2008. Choreographer and performer for the festival EDANCO 2005-2011. Scholarship award for American Dance Festival 05' 06', Impulstanz 10', Bates Dance Festival 11', workshop with Jeremy Wade "Tanz im august". Currently member of Marianela Boan's Company, doing the Iberescena Residency in Berlin and continues her research.

Sasha Pushkin is known as an extremely flexible and open-minded musician. He is the creator of his own musical doctrine, called “Exprovisation” By age eight, he had performed his first concert of original compositions. By the age of 22, he had played for audiences of ten thousand people in St. Petersburg and Kiev.
